Physical therapy is beneficial for anyone recovering from an injury or surgery, experiencing pain, poor balance, or preventing physical activity/sports injuries. Physical Therapists are experts in movement and the musculoskeletal system and will work with you to customize a plan of care specific to your goals.

Do I need to see a physician before starting physical therapy?2020-08-12T20:16:24+00:00

North Carolina has direct access for Physical Therapy. So, in most cases you can come directly to a physical therapist.  There are some exceptions that require a physician prescription such as Medicare, Veteran’s Affairs, or Medicaid. Seeing a Physical Therapist is not only safe, but it potentially can save you time and money. Your physical therapist will do a thorough exam at your appointment and if it is determined you do need to see a physician, we will refer to one of the area’s leading physicians for your problem.
